Air Velocity Sensors
Affordable, Easy-to-use, and Compact. Ideal for Real-time Air Velocity Monitoring.
Air velocity sensors are ideal for providing real-time feedback in air cooled systems when flow verification is key to maintaining a stable and reliable operation. With an air velocity sensor, hardware issues like fan failures can be quickly identified before critical electronic components overheat. This allows customers to isolate and repair the system before catastrophic damage occurs. For successful integration, sensors must be compact, highly sensitive to a wide air velocity operating range, and be generally unaffected by ambient temperature changes.
Air velocity sensors from Posifa Technologies are based on our thermal flow sensor die, packaged and calibrated for easy integration directly onto a PCB. Digital I2C output is available to eliminate the need for external A-D circuitry, simplifying the implementation and reducing system costs.
Ultra-fast response times ensure changes in air flow are detected immediately. An on-board temperature sensor can provide localized temperature data to monitor temperature rise after a drop in air velocity has been detected. The factory calibration allows plug-and-play capabilities without the need for additional characterization by end customers.
Posifa Technologies has the scalability and production capacity to meet any data center or HVAC needs. We can offer the most cost effective solution on the market without sacrificing quality or long-term reliability. Please contact us to discuss OEM options if your application requires customization.
